Music in Grimsby Town Centre

As part of North East Lincolnshire's WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL which takes place around the area from the 5th March to the 7th March 2010 there will be guest appearances of 5 bands playing for your pleasure on Friday 5th March at St James Church and Saturday 6th March in Victoria Street, Grimsby .

the programme for Friday 5th March at St. James Church is;

7.30 p.m. The Zagros Band- eastern european/middle eastern influences

8.30 p.m. Baka Beyond-african and celtic music in equal measure

Doors open at 7 p.m and tickets are availableat the door and from caxton box office, Grimsby library and Cleethorpes TIC

10 a.m.  Sambalada - Lincolnshires premier samba band

11 a.m.  Merlin's Keep -Grimsby based foot stomping Celtic Folk/rock band

12 noon Steel and Rhythm -NEL Youth Steel Band

1.15 p.m. Sambalada

2.15 p.m. Merlin's Keep
