Our Action Plans
The Town Centre Forum’s action plan seeks to move towards the declared vision for the town centre, grounded in support for the delivery of our LSP’s Community Strategy, and the regeneration of North East Lincolnshire. Our actions will reflect the special role and priorities agreed by the Forum membership and will be underpinned at all times by our own core values.

Our strategy to deliver the vision can be best outlined through 5 key delivery Themes, extracted from the vision statement.

Theme1: Protecting and enhancing the environment.
Theme2: Enhancing the image.
Theme3: Maintaining and improving community safety.
Theme4: Building the town centre partnership and improving communications.
Theme5: Rejuvenating the Town Centre’s economic potential.

Each theme has an overarching indicative measure that enables clear communication of progress and priority requirements, to the Forum and to the wider public.

Theme 1 Protecting and Enhancing the Environment-
Progress indicator: Quarterly public opinion survey

Theme 2 Enhancing Image and raising aspirations-
Progress indicator: As above

Theme 3 Maintaining and improving community safety-
Progress indicator: Recorded crime within the Town centre.

Theme 4 Building Town centre partnership and improving communications-
Progress indicator: Growth of Forum membership.

Theme 5 Rejuvenating the Town Centre’s economic potential:
Progress indicator: Recorded footfall & Business start-ups

There are a number of objectives set out for each key theme. These objectives have been derived from what are seen as each themes’ ‘Critical Success Factors’. Success of these objectives feeds directly to the five key themes that in turn link directly with the success of the Town Centre Forum vision. ‘Strategy in Action’. The following pages outlines the critical success factors for each theme and the objectives set to achieve them.

The Grimsby Town Centre Forum is a company limited by guarantee and is open to all businesses and organisations that operate within a defined geographical area, that is the Town Centre, and to those organisations who have an interest in, or can contribute to, the Forum’s Aims and Objectives.
